Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace
This course aims to teach candidates about good health and safety knowledge and understanding.
Note: This qualification has replaced the Foundation Certificate in Health and Safety at Work.
All staff requiring a basic knowledge of Health and Safety or as part of an induction programme
The qualification covers the following topics:

- Welfare
- The workplace and workplace equipment
- Risk assessment
- Manual handling
- Hazardous substances
- Ergonomics and workstation design
- Transport and vehicles
- Noise and vibration
