This course covers The Health and Safety (Display Screen) Equipment Regulations and offers help and advice to enable delegates to stay within the law when using Display Screen Equipment.
By the end of the course delegates will have an in-depth knowledge of the regulations and how to work with Display Screen Equipment Safely.
The course would be particularly useful to Managers, Supervisors and all Display Screen users
The qualification covers the following topics:
- Understanding the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992
- Define who is a Display Screen User
- Analyse the Workstation to assess and reduce Health and Safety Risks, e.g. Musculoskeletal Problems, Visual Fatigue and Mental Stress Rest Breaks
- Eye and Eyesight tests
- The Keyboard
- Desks, Chairs and Workstations

By use of exercises, handouts and group work etc in an informal setting, either on your premises or in our training room. Each student receives a copy of the textbook and handouts. Our courses are conducted in English, but a range of foreign language papers and work books are available for candidates who would find it easier.

Norman Gentry Consulting Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all delegates successfully completing the course.
At the end of the course, as part of our quality monitoring procedures and to contribute to the on-going development and improvement of the programme, all delegates will be asked to complete a course evaluation.
